Johnathan Bartley (“Bart”) Farmer - Operating Partner
Mr. Farmer is the co-founder of The Workforce Group ("WFG"), a nationwide provider of emergency management program services primarily to federal, state and local governmental clients, including significant FEMA and HUD program management . In 2021, WFG was acquired by The Lemoine Company, a portfolio of Bernhard Capital Partners, and now operates as a subsidiary. WFG has led and executed response and recovery efforts for some of the largest disasters in recent years, including Hurricanes Laura, Harvey, Ike, Katrina, Rita, Matthew, Michael, Sandy, and the floods of 2015 and 2016 in South Carolina and Baton Rouge. WFG also led housing and homeless crisis remediation efforts during Covid-19, and operations support during the H5N2 bird flu crisis.
Mr. Farmer has over sixteen years of executive experience in FEMA Emergency Response (40+ programs) , HUD CDBG-DR (20+ programs), Hazard Mitigation and Public Assistance programs. He has worked on numerous long-term recovery programs and emergency response projects, beginning with Hurricane Katrina in 2005. These projects include services and support in the areas of program management, shelter management, construction management, damage assessments, homeowner rehab and reconstruction, debris management, environmental reviews, applicant intakes, appeals processes, compliance and monitoring, small rental programs, and wind retrofit and mitigation.
